Shawn is extremely gifted. I hired Shawn to fit a 14ft Chandelier with over 2000 crystals and he completed the job in good time and when a few of the parts required to fit the chandelier were not included by the manufacturer, Shawn improvised and made it work and went into the arctic to reinforce the brackets to make sure the Chandelier was secured. Furthermore, because some of the crystals were broken or damaged during transit, Shawn came back 3 weeks later to complete the job at no extra cost. In addition, the interior designer in Shawn showed up when he recommended I change the dated light fittings to a more modern Halo/LED lights with dimmers which he sourced and fitted and really complimented the chandelier and really made my living room come alive. Well done Shawn. I cannot recommend you highly enough. You are my hero.

Shawn is awesome !!!! When I first met him it was as if I had known him for years. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional and personable.I called him to remove an existing chandelier and hang a chandelier I had in my previous home.The person that uninstalled and boxed my previous chandelier was not as knowledgeable and haphazardly boxed the chandelier. This chandelier had many pieces and parts to install. Shawn was very patient and did not become frustrated with this tedious process as he found all of the pieces to assemble the chandelier. He was very engaging and asked my opinion about what height I wanted the chandelier to hang. Since he is the expert I followed his suggestion and of course he was right. While he was at my home I asked him his opinion on what type of chandelier to hang in my dining room. His suggestion was perfect and while I was out shopping I found a chandelier that I thought would look beautifully in my home. I texted Shawn a pic and he agreed. He graciously hung the second chandelier the following day. I bought four chandeliers from Shawn. After waiting several months as he ships from China, three of them came in with very poor quality and not like the pictures at all especially the gold color (very cheap yellowish color not gold whatsoever). The fourth chandelier was completely different than the one we ordered. After explaining to Shawn, he ordered another one, after waiting several months again, we also received the wrong order and was completely different. My wife and I were frustrated as we stayed without a chandelier for at least four months waiting for the right one that we ordered. We completely lost confidence as Shawn deals with China and it's a hit and miss honestly. Shawn didn't agree to refund us the money until we ship the two chandeliers and we paid $100 for shipping. He kept saying he has low profit margin and it was a complete lie as it turned out that he tried to return the chandelier to China and instead of the manufacturer negotiating with him they mistakenly negotiated with me and I received the invoice from them, the chandelier we bought from Shawn was for $635 and he bought it and shipped it directly from China for $200. Shawn refused to return the other three chandeliers, we wanted all four to be the same style and color because three of them go over the island in the kitchen and the fourth one goes over the kitchen table. We sent him a picture and explained that we need all four to be the same. He was just not willing to return them. Now we are stuck and we don't have a choice but to throw away the remaining chandeliers. We lost hunderds of dollars. I wouldn't risk dealing and buying from Shawn as he deals with China and you are at a 50/50 chance of not getting what you see in the picture. The quality is certainly poor no matter what you get. Avoid!!!!

I had a fairly tricky install of a chandelier that was 100+ pounds in a 20 foot high foyer. Shawn confidently explained how it needed to be hung, including reinforcing securely in the attic, with safety as the first priority. He was very professional and responsive throughout the process, and showed up on time with all required equipment. The price was fair considering the scope the job. I would certainly recommend Shawn to anyone looking to hang a chandelier.

Wow let me say Shawn saved the day. First the chandlier did not fit together and Shawn tried and did not give up.... he took pole from chandlier and worked on it and got it to fit...so thankful. Our Household refers to Shawn Penoyer as ‘Chandelier-Shawn’ - He’s The Real Deal!!! ......we had just moved into a new Midtown Condo and were nearing the final touches....one of those items was the dining room chandelier. Shawn covered all the basis from assessment and diagnostics, to the install and final perfecting touches to make it the most perfect installation. One of the areas that Shawn identified as needing immediate attention was the ceiling mounting bracket — it was both bent and not load-bearing worthy of the chandelier that would be hanging above our glass dining table. We now had peace of mind about it’s installation and remaining in place. On the other end of the complete installation, Shawn also paid attention to the finest of details in making sure that all the Crystal bars were perfectly uniform .......so I’d stress the importance of Shawn’s overall attention to detail whether it’s the big things like a mounting bracket or the alignment of the crystals shaping out the chandelier. I had purchased a floor lamp online. when it arrived naturally I could not assemble the lamp, nor could i seem to manage to repack the lamp to return. a neighbor had recommended Shawn as a miracle worker with these sorts of issues. I reached out to him asking if he could help. he responded quickly, offering to pick up the lamp and see what he could do. In less than 30 minutes he was knocking at my front door returning a beautiful lamp all assembled and ready to plug in. Shawn did an amazing job. Nobody believes 1 man was able to hang a 300lb chandalier 20ft in the air by himself. I was there, he did just that with all the right tools in tow. Shawn installed two large and several other chandeliers for me. My home has 9-foot ceilings and the foyer and living room have 18-foot ceilings. He also installed power-lifts for the high chandeliers so I can drop them to floor level for cleaning. I contacted other companies that said they install chandeliers but only heard back from one 5-months after I first contacted them. Shawn returned my call promptly. He did an excellent job and provided prompt service. Shawn also has completed other work for me including hanging a large tv over a fireplace and replacing a built-in outdoor grill.
